Welcome to Our Parenting Group!

Being a parent is exciting and nerve racking all at the same time. Just for that purpose we have come together in our Christian love for Jesus Christ and for each other to be a support. That support is essential for your growth as a Christian and for us to be a great ministry to our children.

Children are one of God's greatest gifts to mankind. From the moment of conception, they begin the exciting journey of life with all its joys and sorrows. In time, their tiny lives will grow to maturity and most of them will have children of their own one day. (Precious Wisdom for the Family by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1987)

The Bible teaches us that we are God's representitives in the lives of our children. As parents we are instructed to teach our children the Word and teach by example. It is in my hope that we can come together and support each other in this journey for us and our children.

A POSITIVE EXAMPLE...

The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep his His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

Praise/Prayer: Sandra- prayer that her kids can come w/ her to church on the weekends that their Dad has them-his change of heart. Miranda Eaton- Having to do breathing treatments again. For Pat Stoner: She could use some help with her business(part time). She does housekeeping and picks up her crew for work. It would be helpful if she could spend more time with her husband and this time. Pray for them family as well. Shires'-Brother-in-law's job search. And decisions they will have to make. Also, keep the Santos Family. PRAISE REPORT: The Santos Family is healing...Rich Santos was not expected to live and he is improving everyday. The doctors are amazed with his injuries that he survived. He was taken off the ventilator and is now breathing on his own. PRAISE THE LORD!

March Playdate Schedule: March 3rd -- John Prince Park- Kid Zone March 10th -- Zach's Playdate Birthday Party March 17th -- Playdate at Cynthia Shires March 24th -- West Boynton Park March 31 -- Shelby's Playdate birthday Party

Additional Playdate Information: March 10th-- Zach's 3rd birthday party at the McDonalds at Military and Boynton. The party starts at 11 am. Please RSVP to me or Roseanne. She has reserved for 10 children. You may come at the 10 am time to play before the party. No gifts necessary. March 24th -- Please bring your little one's Easter Basket with Eggs. We will hide them and let the little ones find them. Maybe we can all chip in and bring a small dish to share with drinks...if anyone is interested let me know. Also, if anyone wants to help me with making small treat bags, please let me know. This is no big deal, so we'll just let the little ones have fun and we can have a time of fellowship...Maybe read the story of Easter before we start. March 31st-- Please RSVP to Gena's Evite. No gifts necessary. Shelby's 2nd birthday will be Gena's house. I will post or email directions when I find them! :-)
